Trying hard not to get my hopes up but I like the way you think!!!

Oh Maybei - it's got to be killing you not to say more! No worries - we understand. As long as you feel the info is reliable I'm good! :thanks:

I was asked not to say who told me - but was told I could report that negotiations are ongoing. They are hopefull. All of the sets are ready to go - not just the town, the inside sets as well. They have NOT given up and they appreciate all of us hanging in there.

As I've said in another post, I don't doubt that they are still going on... I'm willing to wait as long as it takes for some good news. Its not like there's a deadline or anything just schedules... they can come up with the best plan to move forward with Jericho and when that happens it will be worth the wait.

All I can do is show support for Jericho and have a great time with fellow Jericho fans, and I'm good with that!

This is the most hopeful news I have heard in quite awhile. It is a little more concrete than whispered maybes. Yes, there is always a chance things could fall through but this seems very positive to me.

:thanks: maybei

These photos and your news, Maybei, are so thrilling! Thank you for posting them (sorry, too, that it took me so long to find out about them).
I love it that you were able to tour the sets, meet a cool security guard and talk with an insider. You must have had a wonderful trip. I am GREEN with envy!

maybei, you are AWSOME!!!!!!
I haven't been as excited in the last few months as i've been in the past few minutes reading this forum.
It's time to spread this news some more, to get a few guys back on the boards. Lots of people left in the last few months. Only a bold few remain, but the fight is still on.

Thanks so much for the pictures. I am so glad to see that the sets are still up. This fired me up so much that I just sent off 20 letters to Comcast, NBC Universal, CBS Paramount, USA Network, and others. Thanks again for showing us that the walls of Jericho still stand.

Great photo's and thanks for sharing! Good to hear there is still hope.

I will put my speculative hat on why one year later set is still standing.

1) They don't have another show ready to rent out/use

2) Future Jericho use in a Movie or possibly Season 3. But a year later the cost of no use and holding a set has to be prohibitive. My spec is there are either or talks going on - possibly with more than one network? Comcast, DTV, NBC Universal my guesses. Falback is CBS Paramount I believe has the ability to take Jericho to a movie - totally in house of they can't bridge a Season 3.

I am an outsider and may be totally wrong but thats my story and I am standing by it :)
